The British consulting company Robey Warshaw cooperates with Rusal (owned by Oleg Deripaska’s En +), writes the Financial Times (FT), citing sources. Former UK Treasury Secretary George Osborne became a partner of Robey Warshaw in April, his personal connections helped to get a contract with one of the largest aluminum producers in the world, the newspaper notes. Robey Warshaw helped in negotiations with Norilsk Nickel on “a number of issues”, writes FT. According to sources of the newspaper, Mr. Osborne’s connections with Gregory Barker, chairman of the board of directors of En +, helped the company to obtain such a client. Mr. Barker worked with George Osborne in the government in 2010-2014. The FT previously reported that in connection with the transfer to Robey Warshaw, Mr. Osborne left the post of editor of one of the oldest British newspapers London Evening Standard, which is part of the media company Yevgeny Lebedev.
