Former French Prime Minister Fillon joins the board of directors of Zarubezhneft

Former French Prime Minister Francois Fillon joined the board of directors of Zarubezhneft JSC, according to information about the company’s affiliates published on the Interfax disclosure center. According to the list, Mr. Fillon joined the board of directors on June 28.

The deputy head of the Federal Property Management Agency Alexei Pavlov was also elected to the board of directors. Messrs. Fillon and Pavlov replaced Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economy Oksana Tarasenko and Assistant Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Kozlov on the board of directors.

Monsieur Fillon was Prime Minister of France from May 2007 to May 2012, during the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered to nominate him to the board of directors of Zarubezhneft in June. At the disposal of the ex-prime minister, the ex-prime minister of France was listed as the president of Apteras Sarl.
