Brent price hits three-year high

The price of November futures for Brent crude oil rose to $ 77.5 per barrel by 7:59 Moscow time on September 24. Thus, Brent reached its highest value since October 2018. Oil prices are rising for the fourth day in a row.

WTI crude oil for November delivery also continues to rise. At 08:06 Moscow time, it is trading at $ 73.4 (+ 0.17%).

The commodity market is positively influenced by the data on oil reserves in the US, as well as the weakening of the American currency. In such conditions, the ruble was able to strengthen against the dollar despite the planned expansion of sanctions against the Russian national debt.
