AvtoVAZ resumed production of Lada Granta and Lada Niva cars after downtime due to a shortage of electronic components. The company suspended production on July 16 due to interruptions in the supply of components from Bosh Samara.
“The work of assembly lines for the production of cars of the Granta and Niva families has been resumed,” a representative of AvtoVAZ told RIA Novosti.
Due to a shortage of parts, AvtoVAZ has already suspended the production of some models in June. Then, after the resumption of work, the management of AvtoVAZ announced a six-day working week. On July 14, production was stopped on the first line, where Lada Xray, Lada Largus, Renault Logan and Renault Sanderо cars are assembled.
